Gugulethu Sofia Mbatha more known by her stage and screen names Gugu Mbatha Raw. Her popularity grew after appearing in the BBC television series of science fiction called Doctor Who. Gugu was a huge success on the show, as she played Tish Jones. Tish is the sister of Martha Jones. People loved Gugu's vibrant enthusiasm. Chelsea Joy Handler was born on the 25th of February, 1975, at Livingston, New Jersey. Handler was among the six youngest children. Handler was the child of a salesman as well as a domestic worker. Her mother is German who came to America in the United States from Germany in 1958. In 1989, she was diagnosed with cancer and died ten years afterward. Handler's father is Jewish and she was brought up Reform Judaism. Handler was born in a nice neighborhood, and enjoyed a pleasant childhood. Her move to Los Angeles when she was aged 19 to pursue acting. Handler had to turn into an actress in order to make ends meet. Handler decided to pursue stand-up acting at the age of 21 after she realized the power of storytelling. Beginning Of career Handler started her professional career as a member of the Oxygen network's all-female cast of the hidden camera/comedy reality TV series Girls Behaving badly. The show was broadcast from 2002 to2005. Handler started appearing on various other programs, including Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler is also the correspondent of The Tonight Show. Handler made her breakthrough in 2006 when she began host her own program on E! called The Chelsea Handler show. It lasted two seasons. Handler later performed in the US on Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend, HBO and Comedy Central have all broadcast her stand-up shows. In 2010 she was selected to host the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. The only female host of the VMAs following Roseanne Bar.
